With the continuous development of environmental protection, environmental protection related industries have also made great progress. At present, the province's environmental protection and related industries have basically formed a comprehensive economic system with relatively complete categories and a certain scale, involving the production of environmental protection products and clean products, environmental protection services, comprehensive utilization of resources and other fields, providing important material and technical support for the development of environmental protection in the province and becoming a new growth point of the province's national economy. At present, there are nearly 1,000 environmental protection enterprises in Fujian with more than 60,000 employees, and the annual output value has climbed from 6.7 billion yuan in 2000 to 265.438 billion yuan in 2007. Rapid development has become a highlight of Fujian's environmental protection industry. Subsequently, Fujian gradually formed environmental protection industrial clusters in Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Longyan, among which Longyan City formed an environmental protection equipment manufacturing industrial base with Longjing environmental protection as the leader and dozens of dust removal equipment and electromechanical processing enterprises cooperating with each other. At the same time, Fujian environmental protection industry has unique advantages. Longjing Environmental Protection is the largest R&D base of environmental protection products in China, and its leading product, flue gas purification equipment, has a domestic market share of over 25%, ranking first in the same industry in China. Quanfeng Environmental Protection has also become the largest garbage incinerator production base in China and the largest incinerator manufacturer in China. In addition, the modern ultraviolet C disinfection technology independently developed by Fujian New World Environmental Protection occupies a leading position in the country. The organic waste gas pollution control devices produced by Jiayuan Environmental Protection and Tianlong Environmental Protection occupy a quarter of the national organic waste gas control market. It has changed the traditional management system of sewage and garbage disposal, and formed a benign operation mechanism of diversification of investment subjects, commercialization of operation subjects and marketization of operation management. Great achievements have been made in the market-oriented reform of sewage and garbage treatment in Fujian Province. In 2008, environmental protection enterprises at all levels in Fujian Province stood on the market, made progress despite difficulties, and withstood the severe test of the world financial crisis. At present, there are 2 environmental protection enterprises, 6 national spark plan implementation units, 5 national high-tech enterprises 10, 30 provincial high-tech enterprises and national enterprise technology centers10 in Fujian province. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, Fujian's environmental protection industry is expected to maintain a growth rate of more than 20%.
