The development of the 21st century has brought the College to maturity. At present, the college has a 7-floor office building, a 3-floor teaching building, a 3-floor academic exchange building and a 4-floor comprehensive building, with more than 20 general classrooms and special classrooms suitable for teacher training in various disciplines, 10 multimedia classrooms, academic lecture halls and 4 other. The college has a professional library with a collection of nearly 90,000 books, and a network management center that is highly modernized and manages an all-optical educational metropolitan area network with independent property rights.

The college has a group of high-quality teachers with high moral character, business expertise, love of duty and dedication. There are 132 teaching staff, among whom there are 2 experts enjoying the State Council allowance, 9 professors and special teachers, 50% of senior teachers (including professors and special teachers), 90% of teachers above the intermediate level, and 53% of teachers with postgraduate degrees. The college has a group of teachers who are well known in the city and have contributed to the reform of education and teaching and the professional development of teachers.

The college has a clear division of labor and a comprehensive departmental setup, and at present*** there are 11 departments: Cadre Training Department (Education Party School), Teacher Training Department, Secondary School Teaching and Research Department, Primary School Teaching and Research Department, Preschool Teaching and Research Department, Educational Scientific Research Office, Moral Education Research Office, Educational Information Center, Educational Development and Evaluation Center, Center for Educational and International Exchange, and the Office of the College Affairs. In addition, the Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology Education is also located in the college, which is open to the whole country to carry out science and technology education, and has established a wide range of cooperative relationships with both at home and abroad. The college is also responsible for the editing and publishing of the Xuhui Education (monthly) magazine and the editing of the Xuhui Education Information Network.

We have further refined the style and motto of the institute since the 1990s.
