Synopsis of spy wife and spy husband in the first season.
The first season of Spy Wife/Spy Couple: Undercover is the first regular drama officially scheduled by the five major TV networks in the broadcast season of 2010-201. Probably no one will be surprised, because this spy comedy created by J J abrams and Josh Lance (brother and sister) has been one of the hottest new dramas of NBC this year. Angela Bromstad, president of NBC's prime-time entertainment program department, praised J.J. Abrams when announcing the booking decision, and thought that J.J.' s joining was something to celebrate. Undercover is a spy drama full of sexy, humorous and action elements. This drama tells people that in the spy world, there are advantages and disadvantages for husband and wife to be partners, but the danger always exists. On the surface, Steven Bloom (boris kodjoe, Resident Evil 4) and his wife Samantha (British actor Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Doctor Who) are a happy couple. They own a small catering service company in Los Angeles and live a typical middle-class life. Samantha's younger sister Lizzie (Smallville, playing Lizzie (Jessica Parker Kennedy)) also helps in the company, but she is not an ambitious girl. In fact, Steven and Samantha are top agents trained by the CIA. Five years ago, they fell in love on business and had the idea of resigning. Once, their good friend and colleague Nash (played by carter macintyre) disappeared mysteriously while tracking down Russian arms dealers. Considering that Nash has some sensitive information, once the consequences are unimaginable, Central Intelligence Agency official Carlton Shaw (Gerald McRaney, "deadwood") has to invite Bloom to come out again to find and rescue Nash. The Blooms didn't want to get involved at first, but they couldn't get rid of it after all. However, they soon found that being a "secret spy" is more stressful, more thrilling, more exciting and more romantic than being a "full-time spy"-which is what they have lost for a long time in their marriage.
