Because the east side of the site is a residential area, the main tower is arranged in the north of the site, close to the Pearl River and binjiang road, which reduces the interaction between its height and surrounding buildings, and forms a complete green square and underground space in the south. The main tower is surrounded by irregular large overhead platforms, with gentle slopes in the south extending to the green square in the south and crossing binjiang road in the north, forming a hydrophilic platform with the Pearl River through the transition of green steps, seamlessly connecting the riverside landscape belt and expanding the green area of the square. In order to adjust the correctness of the relative position between steel members and the main structure, many nodes control the accuracy of the relative position of steel column body through three-dimensional coordinates.

The steel structure in Guang Zhouta is installed at ultra-high altitude, so it must be suspended at ultra-high altitude due to the discontinuity of floors. The risk of injury caused by falling objects increases with height. A safe operation system consisting of vertical ladder, horizontal passage, border fence, operation platform and anti-falling isolation facilities is formulated.
Pre-deformation technology of special-shaped steel structure
Because Guang Zhouta has the structural characteristics of deflection and torsion, during the construction process, the structure will not only produce compression deformation, uneven settlement, but also large horizontal deformation, so pre-deformation must be controlled, otherwise, even if the initial installation position is accurate, under the action of subsequent loads, large cumulative deformation will occur, which will make the nodes deviate from the original design position. The pre-deformation scheme characterized by stage adjustment and ring-by-ring reset is formulated to compensate the deformation of steel structure under constant load.

Guang Zhouta Restaurant is located on the 116th floor of Guang Zhouta. The 423-meter-high Xuanji Mediterranean cafeteria is the highest revolving restaurant in the world, which can accommodate 1.31 ~ 1.51 people. It was verified by Guinness World Records in 2114 and was rated as "the tallest revolving restaurant in the building". The restaurant is designed as an oval ring, which rotates once in about 111 minutes, just taking a dining period as the rotation cycle, so as to ensure that guests at all locations can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guangzhou in all directions.
