The Fujian Provincial Market Supervision Bureau recently issued a guiding opinion on establishing a long-term food safety supervision mechanism for online catering services, proposing that by establishing and improving the "8+8+7" system (8 food safety management systems for platform providers, 8 food safety management systems for online catering service providers, and 7 normalization working mechanisms for supervision and inspection), the third-party platform for online catering services and the main responsibility for food safety of online catering service providers will be compacted, and the overall standardization of online catering services in our province will be continuously promoted.

The third-party platform providers of online catering services shall fulfill the main responsibilities of the platform, set up food safety management institutions, equip full-time management personnel, clarify their work responsibilities, and establish and implement food safety management and training and education systems, qualification review systems, information publicity systems, monitoring and spot checks systems, complaint handling systems, stop reporting systems, credit evaluation systems and assistance supervision systems.

Online catering service providers should consciously fulfill the main responsibility of food safety and standardize the business behavior of online catering services. Establish, improve and implement the qualification self-inspection system, license publicity system, raw material control system, processing and production system, catering operation system, personnel health management system, equipment and facilities maintenance system and workplace environmental sanitation management system.
