The diversion project from Chuo to Liao mainly includes comprehensive utilization of water resources from Chuo 'er River to Xiliao River, water supply to cities and industrial parks along the line, irrigation and power generation. The average annual water regulation of this project is 454 million cubic meters, which can provide 28.33 million cubic meters of irrigation water for irrigation areas along the line every year, and the direct benefit population is about1127,900 people.
