On August 5th, the group standard (T/CCPITCSC 007—20 17) of the Delivery Service Specification was issued in Beijing, which stipulated the requirements of service organizations, service personnel, service processes, handling of abnormal situations, service quality control and continuous improvement of service quality.

It is reported that this specification was jointly drafted by the Commercial Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Baidu Takeaway, and will be officially implemented on September 1 2065438.

In terms of distribution service agencies, the Code clearly stipulates that take-away distribution agencies should have the qualifications of enterprise legal persons, and have fixed office space and a large-scale distribution team. At the same time, distribution tools such as distribution boxes, distribution vehicles and helmets should also comply with relevant laws and regulations.

In terms of service personnel, the Code points out that institutions should review the identity of distribution personnel and require them to be at least 18 years old.

In addition, in some details, the Code has also made relevant provisions. After the order is confirmed, the merchant should complete it within 10 minutes after the consumer places the order, and the delivery staff should take the order within 5 minutes after sending the order. In addition, in the delivery etiquette of the take-away delivery staff, the take-away delivery staff should knock at the door when they arrive at the door of the consumer. If no one answers, they should contact the consumer by phone or text message. Moreover, take-away food delivery staff are not allowed to enter consumers' homes, collect tips or have other uncivilized behaviors.

It is hoped that the introduction of norms will promote the healthy development of the takeaway market.
