Experience: It is said that Japanese manga artist Etsuji Ogawa admired Chinese culture, especially Chinese kung fu, after watching the movie Shaolin Temple. He liked Chinese food so much that he found many books about Chinese food and created a manga called "Zhonghua Ichiban". The manga was serialized in the weekly magazine Shonen Magazine (also known as "Little Chinese Chef"). It was adapted into a popular TV anime, and in 2001 it was serialized in the weekly magazine Shonen Magazine as "Nihonbouououkou", and at the end of 2003 it was published in Shonen Magazine Special as a new short story called "Shourei Shourei" (The Legend of the Cooking Hunter), with a 60-page prequel in the first issue. The story is set in China at the end of the 19th century.
The manga is represented by the food-inspired manga "Zhonghua Ichiban" (also known as "Little Chef Zhonghua"), which was serialized in the weekly magazine Shonen Magazine, and was adapted into a TV anime, and "Nihonbouououkou Shoujo" (originally written by Kazutoshi Kosasawa), which was serialized in the weekly magazine Shonen Magazine in 2001.
