Want to apply for food production license, factory requirements, what to prepare in the early stage?

As of October, 2119, there is no requirement for the area of the factory building to apply for a food production license. The pre-preparation conditions for applying for a food production license are as follows:

1. Have a place for food raw material processing and food processing, packaging and storage suitable for the variety and quantity of food for which the production license is applied, keep the environment of the place clean and tidy, and keep a specified distance from toxic and harmful places and other pollution sources; ?

2. Having production equipment or facilities suitable for the variety and quantity of the food for which the production license is applied, and corresponding equipment or facilities for disinfection, dressing, washing, lighting, ventilation, antisepsis, dust prevention, fly prevention, rodent prevention, insect prevention, washing, wastewater treatment and garbage and waste storage; ?

3. Have a reasonable equipment layout and technological process suitable for the variety and quantity of the food for which the production license is applied, so as to prevent the food to be processed from cross-contamination with the directly imported food, raw materials and finished products, and avoid the food from contacting with toxic and unclean substances; ?

iv. having professional technical personnel and management personnel for food safety suitable for the variety and quantity of food for which the production license is applied; ?

5. It has food safety management systems such as training to ensure food safety, employee health examination and health records, incoming inspection records, ex-factory inspection records, raw material acceptance, production process, etc., which are suitable for the variety and quantity of food for which the production license is applied.

The Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates:

Article 35? The state practices a licensing system for food production and marketing. Engaged in food production, food sales, catering services, shall obtain a license according to law. However, the sale of edible agricultural products does not require permission. ?

article 39? The state implements a licensing system for the production of food additives. To engage in the production of food additives, one should have a place, production equipment or facilities, professional and technical personnel and management system suitable for the varieties of food additives produced, and obtain the production license of food additives in accordance with the procedures specified in the second paragraph of Article 35 of this Law. ?

the production of food additives shall comply with laws, regulations and national standards for food safety.

The Measures for the Administration of Food Production License stipulates:

Article 34 prohibits the production and marketing of the following foods, food additives and food-related products:

(1) foods made from non-food raw materials or foods with chemicals other than food additives and other substances that may endanger human health, or foods made from recycled foods;

(2) Pathogenic microorganisms, pollutants such as pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, biotoxins and heavy metals, and foods, food additives and food-related products with contents of other substances harmful to human health exceeding the food safety standards;

(3) Foods and food additives produced with food raw materials and food additives that have exceeded the shelf life;

(4) foods that use food additives beyond the scope and limit.
