The Leiqiong Haikou Volcano Group World Geopark is about 15km away from the urban area, with more than 40 Quaternary volcanoes. It is a natural geological museum. In the crater, you can overlook Haikou City and Qiongzhou Strait from the commanding heights of Haikou, and the scenery is charming.

Walking on the scenic path, there are lush tropical plants along the road, and you can also see the landscape left by volcanic eruptions such as basalt and lava flow. There is also a volcanic stone cultural park, which displays village doors, stone mills, stone bowls, stone basins, stone tables, sugarcane makers and so on. Made of volcanic rocks in villages in volcanic areas more than 2000 years ago, it seems to have returned to the Stone Age.
