Tonglu county sewage treatment plant is the first sewage treatment plant in Tonglu county, which belongs to the national "three rivers and three lakes" water pollution control key project. The project was founded in 2003, with a total investment of 80 million yuan, adopting SBR(CAST) process, covering Tonglu County, including the old town of Jiangbei and the new district of Jiangnan, with a recent sewage receiving area of 6.05 square kilometers. The sewage it receives includes domestic sewage and industrial wastewater in its service area. The daily sewage treatment capacity is 20,000 tons/day. After secondary treatment, the water quality meets the first-class discharge standard of sewage plant stipulated in the National Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978- 1996), and it is discharged into Fuchun River after reaching the standard.
