In November 2006, KFC, a brand of Yum Brands, became the first brand in the world to be visible from space. 8,128 square meters of the giant Colonel Sanders logo was unveiled in the desert area of Area 51, Nevada, USA.

The logo, which was revealed to the world, is the fifth generation of KFC's logo to be launched globally. Team members experienced unexpected setbacks and trials and tribulations with this unprecedented project.
