The following materials are required to apply to start a family farm: identification of the applicant; an application form; documents proving the right to use the land; drawings and photographs of the business premises; relevant financial information; and quarantine certificates from the street agricultural service center.

The State implements a licensing system for food production and operation. Those engaged in food production, food sales and catering services shall obtain a license in accordance with the law. However, the sale of edible agricultural products and the sale of prepackaged food only, do not need to obtain a license. Only the sale of prepackaged food, should be reported to the local people's government at or above the county level food safety supervision and management department for the record.

Food production and operation shall comply with food safety standards, and meet the following requirements:

(a) with the production and operation of food varieties, the number of food processing, packaging, storage, and other food raw materials handling and food processing, packaging, storage and other places to maintain a clean environment in the premises, and with the poisonous, hazardous sites As well as other sources of pollution to maintain a prescribed distance;

(ii) with the production and management of food varieties, the number of production and management equipment or facilities, with the appropriate disinfection, dressing, washing, lighting, lighting, ventilation, antiseptic, dust, fly, rodent, insect, washing, and wastewater treatment, storage of garbage and waste equipment or facilities.
