There is a dialect in Lanzhou called "Lanzhou dialect", which is different from other counties and cities in Gansu in tone and language. There is also a "hybrid variety" between Lanzhou dialect and Putonghua, which is called "Jinglan dialect". The basic pronunciation is the same as Mandarin, except that Lanzhou slang has introduced Mandarin. This is also a surprise. Not everyone in Lanzhou can speak Lanzhou dialect. Many people can speak Jinglan dialect but not Lanzhou dialect.
Because Lanzhou dialect is too social, especially for girls, it sounds like a sister, so most female students don't want to be dirty! Of course, it is not excluded that there are authentic Lanzhou natives who communicate in Lanzhou dialect at home.
The Hui people in Lanzhou have no national language and writing, only Arabic is used in religion, and local Chinese is completely used in life.
