1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the health conditions for seafarers to be on duty safely; Detection methods and evaluation principles.
this standard is applicable to the assessment of the health qualifications that seafarers who have applied for "Shenhua People's * * * and China Seamen's Competency Certificate", "Shenhua People's * * and China Seamen's Professional Training Certificate" and "Sailor's Duty Visa" should have in order to be competent for their corresponding posts, fully perform their duties, be on duty safely and cope with maritime emergencies. The assessment of the health qualification of inland river crew can also refer to these provisions.

3 terminology.
3.2 watchmen
ratings forming part of navigational watch
refers to the general crew members who form the navigational watch part as stipulated in Rule II/6 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978.
3.3 The mechanic on duty
Ratings forming part of an engine room watch
refers to the general crew members who form the watch part of the engine room as stipulated in Rule III/6 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978.
3.4 The newly recorded
beginner
refers to the seafarers who have actually worked on seagoing ships for less than twelve months.
3.5 current service
serviceman
refers to a seafarer who has actually served on a seagoing ship for twelve or more years.
4 Health conditions
4.1 Height
Newly recorded: the driver's height should be greater than or equal to 1.65M, and other seafarers should be greater than or equal to 1.55M m.
4.2 The spine and limbs
The facial features are normal, and the limbs are intact. The unequal length of both lower limbs is less than 2CM, the scoliosis is less than 4CM, and there is no kyphosis.
4.3 farsightedness
Standard logarithmic visual acuity chart or international standard visual acuity chart are adopted, which are respectively defined as:
4.3.1 Captain, driver and sailor on duty
Newly recorded: naked visual acuity in both eyes is 5.1(1.1) or above, or 4.9(1.8) in one eye and 5.1 (in the other eye).
current position: the naked vision of both eyes is 4.8(1.6) or above, or it is 4.8(1.6) in one eye and 5.1(1.1) in the other eye.
4.3.2 Chief engineer, marine engineer, mechanic on duty, telegraph operator and electrician
Newly recorded: the naked vision of both eyes is 4.8(1.6) or above, or 4.6(1.4) in one eye and 4.9(1.8) in the other eye; Or both eyes are above 4.6(1.4), but after correction (that is, wearing glasses), both eyes can reach 5.1(1.1).
current position: the naked vision of both eyes is 4.6(1.4) or above, or 4.5(1.3) in one eye and 4.7(1.5) in the other eye; Or both eyes are above 4.5(1.3), but after correction (that is, wearing glasses), both eyes can reach 4.9(1.8).
4.3.3 other crew members and trainees of the ship's deck department or engine department can pass the inspection according to the standard of "current job" in 4.3.1 or 4.3.2.

4.4 color vision
Captain, driver and sailor on duty: color discrimination is completely normal.
chief engineer, engineer, telegraph operator and electrical engineer: no red and green color blindness.
4.5 visual field
Captain, driver and sailor on duty: the horizontal visual field is greater than or equal to 1.51, and the vertical visual field is greater than or equal to 1.15.
4.6 stereoscopic vision
The stereoscopic vision sharpness value is less than or equal to 61"
4.7 Listening
4.7.1 Those who can hear the mechanical stopwatch sound with a distance of 51 cm in both ears without any hearing aid and visual assistance are qualified. Or
4.7. 2 if the hearing loss of both ears is less than or equal to 25dB at 1.5, 1.1 and 2.1 KH, and less than or equal to 3OdB at 3.1, 4.1 and 6.1 KH, the chief engineer, engineer and mechanic on duty are qualified.

6. Cardiovascular diseases
6.1.1 Various organic heart diseases with cardiac insufficiency, unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction and acute myocarditis.
6.1.2 Sick sinus syndrome, type II and III atrioventricular block, type I and II atrioventricular block with history of fainting, left bundle branch block, two or three branches block and diffuse intraventricular block.
6.1.3 Frequent atrial or ventricular premature beats (> 5 times per minute), ventricular premature beats appear in pairs, multi-source ventricular premature beats, RonT-type ventricular premature beats, recurrent paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, various types of ventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation.
6.1.4 Pre-excitation syndrome is accompanied by a history of atrioventricular reflex tachycardia or atrial fibrillation, congenital QT interval prolongation syndrome fatigue, and cardiac mucinous pain.
6.2 respiratory diseases
bronchial asthma, repeated hemoptysis due to bronchiectasis, recurrent spontaneous pneumothorax, and pulmonary insufficiency caused by various reasons.
6.3 digestive system diseases
digestive tract abscess complicated with bleeding, decompensated cirrhosis or esophageal varices, cystitis cholelithiasis and recurrent biliary colic.
6.4 urinary system diseases
acute and chronic nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renal insufficiency, urinary calculi and recurrent renal colic.
6.5 hematological diseases
various hemorrhagic diseases, severe anemia (ht <: 8gm), agranulocytosis.
6.6 diseases of endocrine and metabolic system
hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism requires long-term insulin treatment or diabetes with serious complications.
6.7 diseases of nervous system
various nervous system diseases, epilepsy, various types of psychosis and nocturnal sleepwalking that cause mental or physical activity dysfunction.
6.8 malignant tumor.
6.9 Infectious diseases
6.9.1 Crew
Acute viral hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, bacillary dysentery, typhoid fever, typhoid fever, cholera, paratyphoid fever and active tuberculosis.
6.9.2 Kitchen workers, waiters, stewards and carpenters
Except for the infectious diseases mentioned in 6.9.1, they are HBSAG positive, with elevated alanine aminotransferase, and healthy carriers of typhoid fever, bacillary dysentery and cholera.
