Sub-district cities, the province's average annual wage of employees in five cities exceeded the provincial average, namely Langfang 55,592 yuan, Qinhuangdao 50,451 yuan, Tangshan 50,344 yuan, Shijiazhuang (including Xinji City) 47,467 yuan, Cangzhou 45,751 yuan. The average wages of the employed ranked 6th to 11th were 43,309 yuan in Chengde, 41,734 yuan in Baoding (including Dingzhou), 40,474 yuan in Hengshui, 40,158 yuan in Zhangjiakou, 39,950 yuan in Xingtai and 39,707 yuan in Handan.
The average wages of on-the-job workers in non-private units in the urban areas of Dingzhou and Xinji were 38,424 yuan and 37,600 yuan, respectively.
From the point of view of national economic industry categories, there are six industries with higher average wages than the province. Among the three industries with the highest annual average wages, the information transmission, software and information technology services industry was 83,469 yuan, 1.85 times the provincial average; the financial industry was 73,130 yuan, 1.62 times the provincial average; and the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industry was 69,985 yuan, 1.55 times the provincial average. Of the three industries with the lowest average annual wages, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery was 15,559 yuan, 34.5% of the provincial average; while accommodation and catering was 28,971 yuan, 64.2% of the provincial average; and water conservancy, environment and public **** facilities management was 30,674 yuan, 68.0% of the provincial average. The ratio of the highest to the lowest average wage in the industry was 5.36:1, widening the gap with 5.0:1.
By type of registration, the highest annual average wage in other ownership units, 47,004 yuan; followed by 43,351 yuan in state-owned units; the third is the collective units, 36,358 yuan.
II. The average annual wage of urban private sector employees was 31,459 yuan.
The province's average annual wage of 31,459 yuan for on-the-job employees in urban private units was 3,324 yuan higher than 28,135 yuan, an increase of 11.8 percent. Deducting the price factor, the actual growth was 9.9%.
