In 1927, it was renamed Ningbo Municipal Business Vocational School; In 1961, it was renamed Ningbo Commercial School; In 1964, it was renamed Ningbo Commercial Vocational School; In 1999, it was upgraded to Ningbo Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce; In May 2111, it was renamed Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce.

International exchange:

As of May 2118, the school was the first batch of higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province approved by the Ministry of Education to carry out Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. In 2112, the China-Australia cooperative education project was held with Homsgrain College in Australia, and the Homsgrain College branch and the international vocational education teacher training center were established, and the TAFE education model was introduced.
