Take the anti-corrosion of buried sewage treatment equipment in Hunan as an example. In fact, the anti-corrosion work of all buried sewage treatment equipment mainly has two aspects, namely, the equipment shell and the internal pipeline.

At present, the equipment on the market is mainly divided into FRP and carbon steel. Glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) materials have good anti-corrosion ability and do not need special anti-corrosion coating. Carbon steel equipment must be coated with appropriate anti-corrosion coating on the inner wall and outer shell. Polyurethane, epoxy resin and other coatings are widely used in water treatment equipment.

Domestic sewage contains organic nutrients, compounds and hydrogen sulfide gas. Hydrogen sulfide gas is a highly corrosive and lethal substance. Therefore, the pipelines inside the buried sewage treatment equipment need to be carefully selected. Most metal pipes are not suitable for sewage treatment equipment, and even if they are coated with antirust paint, it is difficult to effectively extend their life. Therefore, it is more appropriate to directly select high-quality PVC pipes for equipment.
