The catalogue of undergraduate and junior college majors issued by the Ministry of Education has compiled a catalogue of professional guidance, which corresponds to the majors offered by colleges and universities. The professional guidance catalogue consists of 71 categories in three disciplines: liberal arts, science and engineering, and medical and health care.

Public undertakings and services social work, community management and services, youth work and management, social welfare undertakings management, public relations, commodity inspection technology, people's armed forces, foreign affairs management, domestic service, elderly services and management, community rehabilitation, psychological counseling, intermediary services of scientific and technological achievements, professional intermediary services, modern funeral technology and management, and drug rehabilitation.
