The 22nd Macau Food Festival, organized by the Macau Food and Beverage Industry Joint Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Sai Van Lake Square in front of the Macau Tower from November 18 to December 4 this year. The organizer held a briefing session at 11:00am on October 14th at Marriott Restaurant, attracting many interested merchants to attend. Merchants interested in participating in the festival can sign up from October 14th to October 21st.

Ip Weng Fa, chairman of the organizing committee of the International Cultural and Gourmet Festival and president of the Macau Chamber of Commerce for Tourism and Retail Services, said the last International Cultural and Gourmet Festival was affected by the epidemic and had 101 booths. According to the questionnaire survey of the General Assembly, the visitor flow was 165,000, and the average daily income of each booth was about 8,000 dollars, which was a good result.
The main theme of this year's festival is to promote the local economy, with the theme of "Returning to Christmas and Celebration, Enjoying Food in the City", aiming to provide SMEs, especially those in the catering and retail sectors, with a quality business platform and environment, and combining online and offline media publicity and promotions, to help realize a boost to the economy. He expects attendance to be no less than the previous year, but subject to changes in the epidemic.
