Liu Shangze, a professional musician, returned to China in 2008 after obtaining a master's degree in conducting at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory of Music in Russia. He has always dreamed of forming his own orchestra, but this requires a strong economic backing. For this reason, he chose to start his own business first to prepare for the capital. After some careful preparation, at the end of 2009, his "music theme restaurant" opened in Beijing.
"I want to promote and spread classical music as much as I can through this simple and popular form of restaurant, and at the same time, establish a platform where people who like music can get a space to appreciate and enjoy it." Liu Shangze said his idea of opening a restaurant.
The most important feature of the music theme restaurant is to have a top audition room and a private theater, audiophile grade audio equipment, music and film and television materials more than 4,000. In order to adapt to the requirements of these young consumers, Liu Shangze expanded the kitchen, hired the former chef of the Jianguo Hotel, and operated authentic French cuisine, including coffee, desserts and wine, and so attracted more fashionable young people.
What makes Liu Shangze most satisfied is that he has met a group of classical music and movie lovers in the music theme restaurant. They have formed a circle and will organize regular activities, similar to a music salon. He said that the opening of the restaurant is the starting point of his dream, and he will continue to move forward: "Stick to your dream, and work hard to practice!"
Bento Theme Restaurant: Let Creativity and Food Go Together
Guan Qifeng, who returned from studying in Russia, is a cooking enthusiast and is interested in food and beverage itself. 2009, he learned about Bento Theme Restaurant in Shenzhen in a chance encounter. At that time, there were only branches in Taiwan and Hong Kong. "Why is it that Taiwan and Hong Kong have them, but not us? So I made up my mind to bring this special dining culture to mainland China." And so, Guan Qifeng set a precedent for the mainland in Nanhai, Foshan.
In the theme restaurant, Guan Qifeng modified the ceramic toilet on the basis of the cushion, according to the style of the bathtub and washbasin into a table, set up a sauna room, shower room and SPA room and other characteristics of the box. The tableware used in the restaurant is miniature ceramic bathtubs, toilets, and washtubs. Those poo-shaped, chocolate-colored ice cream is even more eye-catching.

When starting the restaurant, Guan Qifeng recalled that due to the lack of catering experience and social experience, he had encountered various problems. In the face of difficulties, Guan Qifeng always remind themselves: "Do not give up easily, there is nothing you can not do, as long as you are willing to work hard!" It is gratifying that Guan Qifeng's wife has always been around to support and encourage him. His efforts have paid off. Now, with the expansion of the restaurant scale, Guan Qifeng also opened a branch in Chancheng.
