Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, with the planned name Canton East Tower and a total height of 531m, was capped on October 28th, 2114.
Guangzhou East Tower is directly invested by Chow Tai Fook Group in Hong Kong, costing over RMB 11 billion. It will integrate the functions of super five-star hotels, restaurants, serviced apartments, Grade A office buildings and underground shopping malls. Zheng Jiachun, chairman of the group, said at the capping ceremony that day that the height of 531 meters was not intended to be compared with the West Tower, but for the sake of investment benefits. "Usually, the higher the floor, the better the landscape, and the higher the attraction to tenants".
Architectural appearance
The top of the tower is designed in zigzag, and a hanging garden is formed on different floors; The glass curtain wall adopts white clay plate pendant, which can naturally light; Ultra-high strength green concrete is adopted for the first time in the structure, which reduces the weight of the East Tower and increases the usable area.
The top of the platform adopts the zigzag design, forming three outdoor viewing platforms: the top platform of the office area at the bottom faces west on the 66th floor, where you can watch the sunset; The top platform of the central international apartment area faces east on the 91 th floor, and you can see the sunrise in the east; The platform of the five-star hotel with the highest requirement for landscape is on the 117th floor. The platform is completely open, and you can look to the southeast and west, watch the sunrise and sunset, and enjoy the Pearl River.
