In Gold/Silver, obtaining the Dragon's Tooth completes Tsubaki's test. In Crystal Edition and Heart Gold / Soul Silver, however, you need to face the many powerful trainers in the Dragon's Lair, use Tide Spin to reach the main entrance of the Dragon Shrine through the vortex, and correctly answer the Elder of Dragons' questions about attitudes towards Pokémon and how they should be treated to pass Little Tsubaki's test; if the protagonist answers the question about how he or she views Pokémon incorrectly, the Elder of Dragons will ask the protagonist to re-answer the question. Once Tsubaki recognizes the protagonist, she will send the Dragon Rising Badge, along with the Move Learner 24 (Dragon's Breath) GSC / Move Learner 59 (Dragon's Wave) HGSS before the protagonist leaves the Dragon's Lair; if he leaves the Dragon's Lair without passing through the entrance because his bag is full or because he used Pokémon's moves or props, the protagonist will need to go back to Smokey Ink Dokkan and talk to Tsubaki to get the Move Learner she sent him.
After this, return to the Dragon Shrine again to find the Dragon Elder, who will give the protagonist a mini-dragon to nurture. If the protagonist answers each of the previous questions correctly and doesn't make the Elder of Dragons repeat the question, he or she will receive the Mini-Dragon that learns God's speed.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can meet Silver here, who is training Pokémon. After already battling Ginko on Tsukimiyama in Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Wataru and Tsubaki will team up here for a multiplayer battle against the protagonist and Ginko.
