Disinfection is an important link in epidemic prevention and control, and it is very important to block indirect transmission. However, disinfection must be moderate, and it is necessary to ensure that it does not bring harm to the body and does not bring long-term pollution risks to the environment. There are four tips:
First, don't use chemical disinfectants when you can sterilize things by physical methods. Hot water at 56 degrees Celsius can kill the virus for 30 minutes. In this case, like tableware, physical heating can be used as much as possible for disinfection. It is recommended to boil water 10 minute. First, water may not boil at 100 degrees in some places, but it may boil at 70 degrees or 80 degrees in plateau areas. Second, we should not only consider novel coronavirus, but also other microorganisms with strong resistance, so we recommend boiling water 10 minute, that is, tableware disinfection.
Second, when chemical disinfectants are used for air disinfection, they must be used in an unmanned indoor environment, and outdoor air disinfection is unnecessary.
Third, the surface of roads, squares, lawns and other external environments should not be sprayed with disinfectants repeatedly, and large-scale spraying of disinfectants by aircraft should be avoided. If there is a clear local environment polluted by the source of infection, use disinfectant for one-time terminal disinfection. Repeated spraying disinfectant in a large area has the risk of polluting the environment and should be avoided.
Fourth, spraying a large amount of disinfectant on human body, including forcibly passing through disinfection channels, may cause disinfectant to be inhaled through breathing and absorbed through skin. In this case, there may be a risk of damaging human health. We emphasize hand hygiene, and it is safe to use the special hand disinfectant for hand disinfection many times a day.
