What is the employment prospect of nursing specialty?
I am a nursing major in two schools in Northeast China. Today, I will talk about this major in combination with my actual situation. I especially remember that when the secretary gave us a meeting on the first day of our enrollment, you certainly don't have to worry about finding a job in this major in the future. The employment rate is very high, especially for undergraduate nursing. As far as nurses in our city hospitals are concerned, many of them are nursing talents sent by our school. This is exactly the case, because some foreign teachers who taught us later (foreign teachers mostly refer to nurses with many years of clinical experience, usually head nurses) all said similar things, including many teachers who graduated from our school. The picture below is a photo of my student ID card.

Next, I will talk about the study of nursing specialty. Nursing is an independent subject, and there are many contents to learn. The whole university has to study about 20 books in four years, and the task is still very arduous, but our duty is to cure diseases and save lives, so we should learn more knowledge and have solid basic skills. As long as you pay attention to the teacher's key points and work hard in the final exam, it is still easy to graduate smoothly. However, nursing is also a very practical subject. In the study of many subjects, the proportion of practice and theory is similar. For example, basic nursing, we not only need to learn a lot of theoretical knowledge, but also need manual operation, which are all necessary skills for us after work. The teacher will demonstrate, and then we will start to operate the model, such as oxygen inhalation, enema and so on. And we will feel benefited a lot after learning it. The following is a picture taken from a surgical video I once took.

Finally, talk about the general environment of nursing profession. First of all, the working environment of this profession is definitely not very good, because we have to contact all kinds of patients every day, and there are not a few unreasonable patients, so in recent years, "medical troubles" have emerged one after another. Secondly, our work intensity is relatively high, and sometimes it is inevitable to shift shifts and work at night. But then again, if the technology is hard enough to get into a better hospital, the salary is still very objective, at least among graduates with the same education, the salary belongs to the upper-middle class. Now one's postgraduate entrance examination has gradually become a trend. Although undergraduate nursing is still popular now, after three to five years, nursing graduate students may be everywhere, and I don't know what it will be like. I hope my answer can help you!
