The drop-down menu of Excel data validity series is too short.
If there are many drop-down options, even far exceeding the eight required by the landlord, it will be cumbersome to add them manually. It is suggested that the landlord use the method of "specifying names" to add them quickly:

Suppose the fields of industries such as food and beverage, books and videos are in the cell area A2:A 100, and A 1 is the "industry" field of the title line.

Step 1: select A 1:A 100, click the name in the insert menu bar-select Specify-check the first line-and click OK.

Step 2: Select the cell to create the drop-down list-click Validity in the data menu bar-select the series in Allow in Settings-enter = industry in the input box below.

Through these two steps, you can quickly input the contents of A 1 to A 100 into the drop-down list.

Note: By this method, all the selected areas can be named according to the first behavior name, and the data source, namely A 1:A 100 in this example, does not need to be in this table, but can be other worksheets in the same workbook!
