First, there is an age limit for driving an electric bicycle. Driving an electric bicycle must be at least 16 years old. Offenders will be ordered to make corrections, given a warning or fined by 20 yuan according to Article 89 of the Traffic Safety Law and Article 55, paragraph 2 of the Guangdong Road Traffic Safety Regulations.

2. Don't drive an electric bike after drinking. Offenders will be ordered to make corrections or be fined in 50 yuan according to Article 89 of the Traffic Safety Law and Article 55, paragraph 2 of the Guangdong Road Traffic Safety Regulations.

If the driver refuses to accept the fines for the above two illegal acts, he shall detain the vehicle according to the provisions of Article 20 of the Procedures for Handling Road Traffic Safety Violations.

In addition, Zhongshan's electric bicycles must meet the standards and be registered before they can drive on the road!

Set a transition period of 1 year (from June +0, 2065438 to June 20, 2020) for electric bicycles that do not meet the new or old standards.

After the transition period, if the vehicles that violate the standards are still driving on the road, they shall be investigated and dealt with according to the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations.
