As long as any house is used for business (with business license or individual industrial and commercial households), it must be charged according to the commercial electricity consumption. All power users who engage in commodity exchange or provide commercial, financial and service paid services, regardless of capacity, lighting and power, will implement commercial electricity prices.
distinction between commercial electricity consumption and residential electricity consumption:
residential electricity consumption: electricity used for the family life of urban and rural residents' houses, including household lighting, household appliances and temperature regulation (but when a family business is established, its business electricity consumption is subject to the commercial electricity price); Electricity consumption in college student apartments and student dormitories.
commercial electricity consumption: electricity consumption for power users engaged in commodity exchange or providing commercial, financial and service paid services, such as shopping malls, shops, wholesale, warehousing, gas stations and highway toll stations; Electricity for passenger stations such as railways, highways, water transport and aviation airports; Electricity consumption by financial, insurance, securities and other units; Electricity for posts and telecommunications, communication business places, etc.; Electricity consumption of hotels, restaurants, hotels, guest houses, etc. that are open to the outside world; Electricity consumption for entertainment, film and television production sites, etc.; Electricity consumption in toll parks and public welfare parks; Engaged in business consulting services, advertising services, information services, tourism services, real estate management and other comprehensive technical services, regardless of lighting, power and capacity, commercial electricity prices are implemented.
According to the nature of electricity consumption, State Grid Corporation of China divides users into four categories:
1. Household electricity consumption;
2. General industrial and commercial electricity consumption;
3. Power consumption for large industries;
4. Electricity for agricultural production.
Some cities have also divided the categories of non-resident lighting electricity consumption, and also divided agricultural irrigation and drainage separately. There are more detailed divisions in each category, and they all have different electricity prices, and some categories also have preferential electricity prices.
