Taierzhuang has a profound history and culture, which was formed in Han Dynasty, developed in Yuan Dynasty and flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the Qing Dynasty, Yi County Records recorded: "Tai (er) Zhuang straddles the canal, which is the north-south canal, where business travelers are attracted, and the residents are spared.
