China and Africa can cooperate in several aspects:

1. Mining

Africa is rich in mining resources, especially gold, copper, diamonds, chromium, manganese and high-grade iron ore, which are unparalleled in other parts of the world. China has a large-scale exploration and mining team and corresponding technical equipment, which can make a difference in this land of Africa.

so far, China has carried out geological drilling in 13 African countries. In recent years, the Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources under the Ministry of Land and Resources has carried out prospecting activities in more than a dozen countries, such as Namibia, Ghana and Mali, and gold mining in Ghana has started. 2. Household appliances

For many years, household appliances made in Europe and Japan, such as Philips, Electrolux, Panasonic and Sony, have a high market share in Africa. However, in recent years, home appliances from China, South Korea, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions are rapidly entering the African market with their price, quality and service advantages, and European and Japanese products monopolize the market.

due to the overcapacity of domestic household appliances in China and a large backlog of household appliances, many manufacturers compete to lower prices and compete for the market at a low profit or loss price. Affected by years of price wars, the prices of home appliances such as color TV sets, DVD players and microwave ovens in China are attractively low.

3. Project contracting

The contracting market in Africa has great potential, mainly focusing on the construction of transportation, electric power and communication facilities, and industrial projects are gradually increasing. Most projects in African countries are financed by international financial institutions.

The price advantage of Chinese foreign contracted enterprises is gradually disappearing. The cruelty of market competition risk is also forcing our foreign contracting enterprises to think of new tricks and try new methods, constantly sum up experience and seek new ways to open up the market.

4. Leather processing

In recent years, with the sustained economic development and the continuous improvement of living standards, more and more Ugandans have begun to pay attention to dressing and dressing up, and the demand for leather products such as leather shoes, purses and belts has increased year by year. According to estimates, if 85% of Ugandans buy three pairs of shoes every two years, the annual demand for shoes will reach 19.8 million pairs, of which the demand for leather shoes is close to 8 million pairs.

China's powerful enterprises use domestic advanced technology, equipment and local leather resources to carry out leather processing and leather products production. The processed leather can be sold back to China or exported to the traditional Ukrainian market. 5. Cotton Mill Project

The textile industry is one of the four economic pillars of Mauritius, and its textile exports enjoy preferential treatment such as duty-free. However, in the "Africa Act" to be passed by the American Congress, it is stipulated that only garments processed with raw materials such as cotton yarn and grey cloth produced in Africa can enter the American market duty-free and quota-free.

According to the analysis of China-Africa Trade Research Center, there are many production and processing enterprises in China, and most industries have overcapacity, so they can seize the new historical opportunity of African economic development and actively open up the African market. In addition to the above projects, household appliances processing and assembly, rice development projects, textile printing and dyeing projects also have considerable potential.
