Hongqiao District is one of the downtown areas of Tianjin, located in the northwest of the city, bordering Nankai, Beichen, Hebei and Xiqing. The whole area is 6 kilometers long from east to west and 5.6 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 21.3 square kilometers. There are now 11 sub-district offices under the jurisdiction of the whole region, with a registered population of 561,611. Hongqiao District is historically a land of brine near the seashore, and it is known as the lower tip of nine rivers. Ziya River, South Canal and North Canal flow into Haihe River at the mouth of Sancha River, forming a unique terrain. Hongqiao District is named after the ancient "Hongqiao" in its jurisdiction.

here, Hongqiao district, with a rich and splendid historical and cultural heritage, is the birthplace of Tianjin, and the Sanchahekou area, where the North-South Canal meets the Haihe River, is the hub of water transportation, the gateway to the capital and the important place of water transportation. The famous painting "Luhe Duyun Map" in Qing Dynasty truly and delicately depicts the grand scenery of this area. In the second year of Jianwen in Ming Dynasty (AD 1411), Zhu Di, the prince of Yan, led an army to cross "zhi gu" (now the area around Beidaguan) and went south to take Cangzhou directly to win. Later, in the second year of Yongle (AD 1414), a fortified city was built in zhi gu, which was named Tianjin, and the "Longfei Ferry" archway was built at the place where the river was crossed that year as a memorial. Hongqiao District is the birthplace of Tianjin's commerce. The prestigious Appraisal Street, Beidaguan and Hutong are still the pride of Tianjin's commerce and one of the most historically qualified typical representatives of China's old commercial streets. Hongqiao District is the birthplace of Tianjin mechanical casting industry and the industrial cradle of North China. Hongqiao District is also the birthplace of modern education in China and Tianjin. It is the location of the earliest modern university in China-Beiyang University Hall, the earliest government middle school in Tianjin-Tianjin government middle school (commonly known as Jingdangge Middle School) and the earliest government primary school in Tianjin-Hebei Dasi Primary School Hall. Hongqiao District was once a place where Tianjin's elegant culture flourished. Shuixizhuang, a private garden built in the first year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1723), was famous for its gathering of scholars from the north and the south. Emperor Qianlong had been stationed in the city for four times. The scenic Peach Blossom Garden still retains the site where Emperor Qianlong boarded.

here, the Jin-Pu Railway, with convenient and smooth traffic lines passing through Hongqiao District, is an important trunk line of the national railway network. The expansion project of the West Station located in this area has been included in the national 11th Five-Year Development Plan. In the future, the West Station will become the largest passenger transportation hub in the central city integrating high-speed railway, passenger dedicated line, ordinary-speed railway, long-distance rail transit and public * * * traffic, and also the traffic artery connecting the Jin-Pu Line and Jingshan Line. In addition, three highways, namely, Tianjin-Beijing, Jinbao and Jinyong, pass through the territory, which is an important channel for Tianjin to connect Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi and Henan. More than a dozen lines, such as Beiheng Expressway, West Longitudinal Expressway, Northwest Half Ring Expressway and Metro Line 1, form a transportation network extending in all directions, which is fast and smooth.

here, Hongqiao, which has obvious advantages in river scenery resources, is the source of Haihe River. Three rivers in Hongqiao, namely Ziya River, South Canal and North Canal, are located in the upper reaches of Haihe River system, and Hongqiao is endowed with "river resources". The comprehensive development and reconstruction of Haihe River in Tianjin will be promoted upstream during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, and there will be much to be done around the "river".

here, Hongqiao District, which is rich in land resources to be developed, relies on the urban planning and demolition to fully promote the development and construction of Guanguan, Guanxia and Xiaoxiao Lane, Xigu Nanshui Xizhuang plot, West Yuzhuang plot in front of West Station, Golden Triangle in Hutong and Aihuali in Hutong, Shaogongzhuang, No.51 Middle School, Lingdingge, Pingjin Campaign Memorial Hall and both sides of Glory Road. Future development direction In the next few years, Hongqiao District will adhere to the regional economic development strategy of "urban construction driving, strong three and excellent two", and initially build our district into an important transportation and business center, business distribution center and livable and entrepreneurial ecological city in Tianjin. Focus on building a center, two comprehensive economic belts, three green ecological corridors and six functional areas. That is, "West Railway Station Traffic Business Center, Guangrong Road Comprehensive Economic Belt, Diligent Road Comprehensive Economic Belt, Ziya River, North Canal and South Canal Green Ecological Corridor, TEDA City Business Exhibition Function Zone, Dahutong Business Distribution Logistics Function Zone, Dafeng Road Modern Business Function Zone, Dinggu Business Service Function Zone, Xigu Cultural Tourism Leisure Function Zone and Shui Mu Tiancheng Business Service Function Zone.

the reconstruction and expansion of Tianjin west railway station, the traffic and business center of west railway station, has been included in the national 11th five-year development plan, with an overall development area of ***2.7 square kilometers. It has become the largest passenger transportation hub in the central city integrating high-speed railway, passenger dedicated line, general-speed railway, long-distance rail transit and public transportation. At the same time, we will build a modern transportation business center integrating high-end business, leisure and entertainment, finance and insurance, logistics, retail business, hotels and commodity trade.

Guangrong Road Comprehensive Economic Belt starts from Qianli Dike in the west and ends at Beiyang Bridge in the east. Combining with Tianjin's planning and construction of Guangrong Road and the advantages of intellectual resources of universities and research institutes in the area, relying on the development and opening-up pattern of Beijing-Tianjin metropolitan area and Binhai New Area, we will carefully build a high-tech industrial park and its supporting modern service industry. Aiming at the consumption demand of high-end consumer groups in Beijing, colleges and universities in Beijing and future high-tech parks, we will make full use of about 131 hectares of planned land on both sides of the road and build public construction carriers and industrial clusters such as shopping, catering, entertainment, business, exhibition, finance and hotels with high standards.

the qinjian road comprehensive economic belt starts from hongqi road in the south and hongqi bridge in the north to qinjian bridge. From south to north, it is planned to build a modern service industry integrating business facilities, hydrophilic platform landscape belt, high-grade entertainment and leisure scenic spots, large automobile city, community service, catering and entertainment, business and residence; Relying on the historical landscape planning of Taohuadi, we will focus on the development of historical and cultural leisure tourism belts.

Hongqiao District, three green ecological corridors, is born of rivers, prospers along the shore and thrives on business. The natural environment resources of "Three Rivers and Five Shores" are unique. In the next few years, relying on the planning and development along the three rivers, we will do a good job of "water", highlight the natural and hydrophilic ecological environment characteristics, and gradually build three green ecological landscape belts with leisure, tourism and livability as the direction.

TEDA City Business Exhibition Functional Zone TEDA City is located in Sanchahekou, Hongqiao District, and is the first node of comprehensive development of Haihe River. TEDA City covers an area of 851,111 square meters, with a total construction area of 1.5 million square meters and public buildings of more than 611,111 square meters. We will build a business, trade, business and exhibition functional area that combines profound historical and cultural heritage with modern architecture, and integrates cultural exposition, tourism and leisure, business and commerce, exhibitions, financial securities, star-rated hotels, high-end commercial and residential buildings and other functions.

relying on the 511,111-square-meter business cluster in this area, Dahutong Business Distribution Logistics Functional Zone plans to build a 261,111-square-meter professional wholesale business building and related supporting facilities, so that this area will become a logistics-based business distribution functional zone with unique wholesale and retail functions, complete supporting facilities and smooth traffic in Tianjin, featuring small commodity distribution and modern logistics.

Dafeng Road Modern Business Functional Zone covers a total area of about 42 hectares with a building scale of 711,111 square meters. With the reconstruction and expansion of the West Railway Station, we will build a modern business functional area focusing on office buildings, finance and commerce and reflecting the characteristics of the canal.

relying on carriers such as gloria plaza, pan-ocean plaza and grand stage, dinggu business service functional area focuses on developing regional comprehensive business services and university logistics services that meet the living consumption of community residents in combination with the characteristics of dense population and the location of scientific research institutes in this area. Vigorously develop the catering industry and commercial service industry, and gradually form a characteristic functional area with commercial and comprehensive services as the main function.

Xigu Cultural Tourism and Leisure Functional Area This functional area covers an area of 551,111 square meters. Relying on Xigu Park, it excavates historical and cultural resources, deeply develops and rebuilds Shuixizhuang, one of the top ten tourist attractions in Tianjin, and forms a functional area integrating culture, tourism and leisure.

Shui Mu Tiancheng Business Service Functional Zone is located at the intersection of Xianyang Road and Ziya River. Combined with the characteristics of dense population in this region, we will focus on developing commercial services that meet the living consumption of residents, and will build a number of public facilities of more than 411,111 square meters, such as hotels, businesses, restaurants, entertainment, and gradually form a commercial service functional area integrating catering, entertainment, shopping and livability.
