What is Guyi Garden like?
Guyi Garden, formerly known as Yiyuan Garden, was built in Jiajing Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. Designed by Zhu, a famous bamboo engraver in Jiading. In the 11th year of Qing Qianlong (1746), the garden was bought by Ye Jin, a native of Dongting Mountain, and renamed as Guyi Garden. At that time, there was a Ye Tang, Xiaoyundou, Cai Xiang Gallery, Huanbi Building and Fuyunge in the park. In the fifty-third year of Qianlong (1788), Guyi Garden was changed into a state town god temple and became one of the famous gardens in the suburbs of Shanghai.

Guyi Garden is centered on Goose Pond. Zhi Zhu is in the south of Chinaand there is a corner pavilion on the top of the mountain. The northeast corner of this pavilion was cut off and disappeared after the September 18th Incident, so it will never be forgotten. There is a waterside pavilion at the foot of the mountain, named Fuyunge, which is opposite to the stone boat built on the north bank of the pool. Crossing the small bridge at the foot of Shanxi is a good place to fly kites and fish. Bird watching and fish swimming are very interesting. Xuanbei passes Xiaoyun Dougu, which is the former site of Ye Yitang. The ancient pagoda in front of the hall has a history of 400 years. There are five ancient peaks in northern Bei Tang. There is a crane pavilion on the bridge. To the south of Xiaosonggang is the courtyard of the South Hall. In addition, there are buildings such as Yin Wei Pavilion and Meihua Pavilion. 1958, after the expansion of Yiyuan Garden, two classic buildings in Tang Dynasty and a stone pagoda in Song Dynasty were moved from Yunxiang Temple. The building plane is octagonal, engraved with Dalagni Classic. Songta is famous for its ordinary towers.
