Because I've been working in a bank since graduation, I don't know that much about other jobs, so I won't specifically compare it to a particular industry job for now. Mainly talk about the good and bad of banking jobs.
The good thing about banking is that, as many outsiders see it, it's a relatively decent job with a decent average income level, at least much higher than the local average.
Mainly about the bad parts of the bank's work:
One is the pressure of work, many people only know the bank to pull the deposit pressure, in fact, there are a lot of bank positions, the pressure of different positions is not the same, the first line of the bank has pulled the deposit, loans, credit cards, handmade bank, electronic banking, financial management, precious metals, etc., as long as you can think of the business, there is pressure to the first line of pressure; part of the bank back-office also have business pressure. Bank background also have business pressure, do not think that the business task only to the first-line employees under;
Two is more overtime, regardless of the first-line or background, overtime is the norm, women as men with men as livestock, this is really not a joke;
Three is more socializing, this point is mainly on the background, after all, like to drink, socializing is a minority of people, socialize to 12:00, 2:00 or something, or very much affect normal life;
Three is more socializing, this point is mainly on the background, after all, like to drink, socialize people or a minority, socialize to 12:00, 2:00 or something.
The fourth is vulnerable, most people only see the decent side of the bank's work, in fact, bank employees are really vulnerable, vulnerable to customers, the service is not good, a complaint will have to let you obediently bowed to admit fault, even if it is no reason to complain, will also be criticized by the bank, compared to the rest of the industry, how many industry complaints can be handled by the bank to deal with such a thoughtful, so that customer satisfaction? How many industries can handle complaints as well as banks can handle them in such a thorough manner to the satisfaction of their customers? A lot of industries complain and then complain and then nothing happens; being vulnerable to superiors, this goes without saying and is found in most industries.
That's all for now, the rest of the suffering is only known to those who have been in the bank. Of course we have those positions where there is less work and more money, but after all, they are a minority of positions.
