The current development trend is that the expansion of urban agglomerations has long been confined to a certain province, and more and more urban agglomerations have chosen cross-regional cooperation. For example, the Yangtze River Delta includes Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration includes Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River include Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. Sichuan-Chongqing urban agglomeration is also the cooperation between Chongqing and Sichuan.
If Shandong and Henan develop independently on their own land again, they will undoubtedly lag behind the urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in terms of infrastructure construction. If they want to stay, is it possible for Shandong, Henan and even Hebei to cooperate and develop? In my opinion, there is a great chance for the three provinces to cooperate!
Shandong, Henan and Hebei, which have similar cultures and strong sense of identity, all belong to Chinese culture, and can ensure seamless connection in food collocation and language expression. In every key agricultural production province in China, the wheat output of Shandong, Henan and Hebei has always been the front end of the country. Shandong, Henan and Hebei were originally Chinese places or pan-Chinese places, and their sense of belonging to culture and art was basically the strongest among all provinces in China.
The convenience of transportation greatly shortens the space distance. With the continuous improvement of China's infrastructure, communication between different regions has become more and more convenient, especially in the northeast, where there are a large number of plain areas in Henan and Hebei. The relatively low construction cost makes the relative density of expressway in Hebei, Henan and Shandong reach a very high level. Zhengzhou and Shijiazhuang are also called big cities pulled by trains. Both are because the railway line jumped from a small village to a separate provincial capital city. Zhengzhou, in particular, is not only a hub station in Henan, but also a hub station in the whole country. Looking at the number of train stops alone, Zhengzhou has got rid of Wuhan, which is known as the thoroughfare of nine provinces.
The convenience of transportation will eventually serve the social and economic development, and the mobility of population and products can stimulate the popularity of sales markets all over the country.
Henan needs Shandong, and Shandong also needs Henan. Henan is the province with the largest import and export volume in the central and western regions of China. As an inland province, international shipping is the most obvious weakness of Henan, and trains are in full swing in Zhengzhou. However, the cost of railway freight still looks high. If Henan can follow the development trend of Qingdao and other coastal ports, international shipping can not only improve the tolerance of freight logistics in Henan, but also have the most immediate application effect on Shandong Jiaodong. Qingdao, Yantai and other coastal ports are facing direct market competition from Dalian, Tangshan, Tianjin and other northern coastal ports, from the initial leading level to today's neck and neck.
Shijiazhuang needs to jump out of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration is one of the three largest urban agglomerations in China, and it is also an urban agglomeration with a large gap between the rich and the poor. Apart from Beijing and Tianjin, there is not a trillion cities. Tangshan, the largest GDP, will also increase by 700 billion in 2020. Compared with Tangshan, Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, seems to have fallen a lot. In fact, Shijiazhuang is far from Beijing. Shijiazhuang not only insists on the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, but also leads Handan City and Xingtai City to the periphery. Recently, Zhengzhou and Jinan are two good partners.
Holding a group to keep warm is the way to win. In order to solve the shadow of Wuhan, Zhengzhou does not have to surpass Wuhan in GDP, although the probability of exceeding it is not great. Zhengzhou can take the road of urban agglomeration to overtake Wuhan metropolitan area, which is relatively balanced with the development trend of Hubei Province and Henan Province. Cities in Henan are generally stronger than prefecture-level cities in Hubei, which is an opportunity for Henan to improve as a whole.
Shandong is also suffering from its own embarrassment. Sandwiched between the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shandong is not only not versatile, but is constantly consumed by these two urban agglomerations. The gradual brain drain in Shandong in recent years is very worthy of attention in Shandong. It is also a difficult problem how to control your own basic disk, whether to look south at the Yangtze River Delta or west at Henan.
More than a decade ago, Hebei was the top five provinces in China, and its GDP and per capita GDP did not leave the ranks of coastal provinces. In recent years, in the GDP ranking of China's provinces and cities, Hebei's ranking has been declining, and now it has even fallen behind Anhui Province. Industrial transformation and environmental pollution have been deeply troubling Hebei. In the period of group development and common development trend, cooperation can gain the future.
