I. Yalong Bay: Horizon, MGM, Ritz-Carlton, Regency

(a) Horizon: 1. 5. Rooms: west wing is newly renovated, east wing is old renovated. But I really like the old renovated building 3, and it's not old, and the rooms are much bigger than many of the west wing building 2's.

The new renovation is average I think, for those who like something newer. It's a good idea to have an attendant take a look to confirm what you like when arranging a room!

6. Service: their service is top notch! Top notch! I think it's the best of the hotels I've stayed at in Sanya. Another one that can match it is the newly opened Capella. It doesn't matter if you choose more than one when you check in to arrange your room, they will go out of their way to show you around with a great attitude. I think the Ritz is kinda recommended for couples or families with small babies.

(c) Regis: Let's put it this way, it's basically a gritty version of the Ritz. The hotel is bigger than the Ritz, to what extent? It's basically hard to walk and get out of the hotel The hotel lobby is far from the hotel garden entrance? A long drive? The location is more remote, the beach is steeper and worse, similar to a reef beach, and the food and service are not as good as the Ritz. But the pros are:

(d) MGM MACAU beach is okay, just a mangrove forest away from Horizon, but a lot quieter than Horizon. (Horizon is very popular, I go off-season there are also a lot of people.) The hotel is modern in style, and the facilities and rooms all look relatively new. Location and beach is not as good as Horizon but better than Ritz.

The gardens are also quite beautiful, but some areas look crowded with chairs by the pool. Still pretty though. All aspects are between Horizon and Ritz. Suitable for families who like the modern style, and think the Horizon is too old and noisy, and the Ritz is too far away and expensive.

II. Begonia Bay: I recommend: Atlantis, Yanlord, Addison, Shangri-La, Capella. Also stayed at: Poly Crest and Renaissance.

With children, the most recommended Atlantis Renheng if you want to cost-effective Shangri-La very good.

(a) Yanlord: actually good, breakfast is very rich (Western restaurant) (slightly less breakfast in the Chinese restaurant.) Not bad if the hotel is not bad, there are a lot of good food! The public **** part of the hardware is good, but the hotel rooms are very, very average, don't expect anything.

Various free upgrades of large rooms, many are not popular far from the public **** area, but rather not recommended. The hardware in the room is great!

(V) Addison: the hotel hardware is great, beautiful. Rooms and single beds are bigger than Yanheng, but the decoration style is more plain, Yanheng's decoration may be more in line with the general public's likes and aesthetics. The view from the upper floors is great, and the garden and the sea are especially beautiful. The garden is very big and the artificial lake is very beautiful.

Room area and garden are more than satisfactory. The garden has a man-made lake and you can kayak. The sky bar and sky pool are also very nice and the view is great. The children's playground is new and large with a dedicated children's pool. There is a sand digging area by the outdoor pool, no need to go to the beach.

Breakfast was good but not as rich as Jenga. Dining flavor is good. The overall style is more suited to a couple's vacation. Parent-child go can also be. But the place to play and parent-child activities may not be as much as Horizon Renheng such parent-child hotel. But if the hotel is concerned, I think Addison is better than Yanheng.

Renheng land boundary is too small, the hotel design style is too business? It's really scraping the bottom of the barrel to create a family-friendly hotel, otherwise it really doesn't have an advantage.

(5) Poly CURLY: how to say, is a business hotel. Not suitable for children, suitable for couples and Netflix to go to the air pool to play cards. The rest, no. 3. Focusing on quality, quiet, rich, choose Capella. All aspects of the hardware is considered Sanya top match.

4. Cost-effective + Haitang Bay, Shangri-La

5. Yalong Bay + focus on service, catering, quiet and beautiful garden, choose the Ritz-Carlton. Smack of Horizon is too lively and old, smack of Ritz is too quiet and too expensive beach is too steep, like modern style choose MGM.

6. No children and couples family pursuit of service and quality: Addison, Capella, Ritz.

(4) Sanya Bay Mangrove: far from the sea, but since a paradise. I haven't stayed there but the lobby does look a bit grander and the building orientation and location in the park is better!

(5) Mandarin Oriental: good service and quiet location. But the facilities are not well-maintained, the pool has leaves, not as clean as the Ritz. The exterior of the house is very mottled, long time ago, no popularity, heavy Yin Qi. The children's playground is very dilapidated.

I went there the year before last, and it was a big change from the Ritz. The room is also quite old. I think it looks a bit older than something like the Ritz Horizon. I've stayed in the same type of hotel in Thailand and thought it was quite a big difference! A lot of people on the board say it's good, but really don't recommend it. I don't think there is an advantage to this hotel in every way. (Not even the price advantage)
