The Development History of Dafugui Restaurant in Shanghai
Shanghai Dafu Restaurant was formerly known as "Huizhou Danfeng Building". It was founded by Shao and other Anhui villagers on 188 1 (the seventh year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty). Originally located at the corner of Zhao Jia Road (now Fuxing East Road), Zhonghua Road, Laoximen, it was named "Danfenglou Tea Garden". At first, it mainly engaged in general Huizhou cuisine and snacks. Later, with the development of Shanghai's commercial market, it gradually expanded its business and operated various special Huizhou dishes. From the 1920s to 1930s, "Huizhou Fengdan Building" was also famous in this city. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, our restaurant was closed for a time. 1940, moved to the left adjacent Zhonghua Road 1465 to resume business, and changed its name to "Dafu Restaurant", which means "good luck and prosperity". In 2000, with the relocation and transformation of Fuxing Road, Dafu actively cooperated and moved to Zhonghua Road 1409 (current address) to continue its business.

After the reform and opening up in the 1980 s, Dafu has been rebuilt several times, and its old appearance has taken on a new look. Since 2005, we have created and expanded many new fashionable dishes while operating Huibang dishes.

Introduced the take-away varieties of pot-stewed vegetables; In 2006, Fu Hui won the titles of "Three Fresh Wonton", "Gluten Louvre", "Fresh Meat Package" and "Fresh Meat Zongzi" and so on. In 2007, stewed hoof flower, stir-fried duck, fried eel paste and shark's fin with crab powder won the title of "Shanghai famous dishes". After 130 years of development, today's Dafugui is a modern chain catering enterprise with 17 stores and a distribution center.
