The section from Yangcun, a tributary of Yihe River estuary in yanshi city, Henan Province, to Nanluo River estuary in Gongxian County is also called Yiluo River. It is also the only tributary flowing into the Yellow River in southeastern Shaanxi.

Nanluo River originates from Huazhou District, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, and Lantian County, and the junction of Linwei District and Qinling Mountain is 2128.4 meters above sea level. The Muchagou (Chagounao) on the south side of the east side of Longfeng Mountain is Longtan Spring in Luoyuan Town, Luonan County.
