1 text paper
Ring-lined paper: it is the layer of paper between the cover and the text. Many publishing houses have their own paper and color requirements, so it is good to know; There are also some paperbacks that don't need a ring lining.
3 internal sealing paper
4 outer cover paper: not every book has it.
Paper for waist seal: not every book has it, but some books have it, and the waist seal is a part of the outer seal.
If it is a hardcover book:
1 text paper
Double ring liner
3. Mounting board: it is a hardcover hard shell. Yes, you can choose this kind of board (although most publishers have fixed suppliers, sometimes you can choose a better quality sheet that will not deform when wet or dry).
4. Laminated paper: it is the layer of paper or cloth that is mounted outside the hard shell (remind everyone to consider the effect of laminated paper. I had a book before, and I chose a particularly white paper and put it in a spotless white inner cover. As a result, the paper becomes thinner ... after lamination, the gray laminate will have the defects of color ... and after neutralization, there will be no white ... )
5 outer cover paper: not every book has it.
6 Paper for girdle: Not every book has it. Many people hate girdle, but some well-designed girdle will enhance the overall design sense. If it is a set of books, you should also choose a letter paper. When reading a paper, you need to consider the printing effect: is your book pure text or has many pictures? If there are many pictures, what kinds of pictures are there (do you need to see the details in particular, or just a general presentation? Is it more effective to blur large particles/pay special attention to color reproduction, or have no special requirements for color? There is also the weight of paper: paper is generally priced by tons, which means that you can buy more lighter (usually thinner) paper at the same price per ton, which can save money relatively. But if the weight is too low, the paper will wrinkle easily when printed on the machine, and the printing ink is especially double-sided printing. And the weight is high, the paper is thicker (the same kind of paper, regardless of the loose thickness), and it is thicker in the hand. It is often seen that there are some books with relatively little content. If the price is higher, everyone thinks it is not worth it, but the weight has come up. With the same number of pages, the whole book has become much thicker and the price has gone up (this is really an editing idea).
