Luyang Village Fisherman's Inn is a new tourism project, which integrates accommodation, catering and fishing at sea, opened by Luyang Tourism Development Company in Dajijia Street of Development Zone in June 2009. The hotel is located at18km west of the administrative center of Yantai Development Zone, 40km west of the world-famous Penglai Pavilion, and east of Taozi Bay in the Yellow Sea, with a total area of 6.6km2 and a coastline of 8 miles, including 4 miles of soft beaches. It is a pollution-free natural bathing beach. Luyang Neighborhood Committee, which the inn relies on, has a history of more than 700 years. It is a fishing village mainly engaged in marine fishing and fishery production and processing.
