Xiyong Beach, with a total length of about 4 kilometers, is the longest beach in Shenzhen and the starting point of "East-West Coast", one of the eight most beautiful coastlines in China selected by China National Geographic magazine. From 2065438 to September 2008, Xiyongtan was severely damaged by a super typhoon. Dapeng New District seized the opportunity, planned from a high starting point and built with high standards, and promoted the post-disaster renovation and upgrading of Xiyong District with a world vision and an international vision. After cleaning and demolition, ecological restoration of shelterbelts and supporting construction of transitional tourism service facilities, the environmental quality within the range of 1.20 meters along the shoreline of Xiyongtan will be improved, a coastal leisure belt with a total area of 1.6 hectares will be built, and a "one line and five parks" landscape belt consisting of an ecological road running through the beach surface and five theme parks will be built.
On May 10, OCT Shendong Group settled in Xiyong and began to upgrade the beach facilities and environment. Around the clock, the preparatory staff of Xiyong project team completed the full coverage of the whole beach lighting, broadcasting and monitoring system in only three months, and completed the landscape greening, road repair, pipe network, fence and other restoration work of 1 No.2 and No.2 beaches.
In addition to paying attention to the management of the resort itself, it is more important for OCT Shendong Group to attract more tourists to spend their holidays in Xiyong area and promote the development of the collective economy of merchants and communities in Xiyong area.
The person in charge of OCT Shendong Group said that when recruiting employees, the group gives priority to hiring local villagers as service personnel to participate in security, cleaning, lifeguards, offshore operations, etc. At the same time, it also gives priority to cooperating with local high-quality merchants in Dapeng in catering and retail projects.
