Taiwanese hotel standards are labeled with a star rating, with a plum blossom rating, and a low standard three flowers. Taiwan three flowers equivalent to mainland two-star or economy hotels, Taiwan four flowers equivalent to mainland three-star, Taiwan five flowers equivalent to mainland four-star or five-star hotels.

The number of stars and coloring to indicate the level of tourist hotels. The stars are divided into five levels, namely, one-star, two-star, three-star, four-star, five-star (including platinum five-star). The lowest is one star and the highest is platinum five-star.
