With the continuous development and expansion of the school, the school has expropriated 339.3 mu of land in the new urban area as a new campus, with a total designed construction area of 161,811 square meters and a total investment of 254 million yuan. The first-phase construction project includes a graphic information center, an administrative office building, a teaching building, an experimental building, a canteen and a cultural and sports activity center, with a construction area of 15,111 square meters and an investment of 211 million yuan, which was completed in September 2115.

The 11th Five-Year Development Plan of Pingdingshan City puts forward the idea of "establishing Pingdingshan Medical College based on Pingdingshan Health School", which creates new opportunities for the development of the school, but also poses severe challenges. The construction of a new campus and the bid for Pingdingshan Medical College are the first priority for the development of the school in the next few years. After several years of efforts, we will strive to build the school into a nursing-oriented, multidisciplinary, first-class in the province and influential in China.
