First came Shuanglong Bridge, commonly known as "Seventeen-span Bridge", a 17-span stone arch bridge built in the Qing Dynasty, with three pavilions.
Shuanglong Bridge is located in the west of Jianshui ancient city, about five kilometers, across the intersection of Lujiang River and Benjiang River. It is one of the famous monuments in Yunnan Province and has been listed in the history of bridge construction in China. This is a very beautiful bridge.
This bridge was built with three holes in the reign of Qing Qianlong and fourteen holes in the reign of Daoguang. Because they are connected together, it is commonly known as the "seventeen-hole bridge". There are three pavilions in the bridge with pavilions at both ends.
The whole bridge body is made of huge stones, with a total length of 148.26 meters and a width of 3 meters. Its shape is ingenious and very beautiful. It is one of the outstanding ancient bridges in China and a national key cultural relics protection scenic spot.
Shuanglong Bridge is a very "photographed" place, which can be photographed from a distance or close-up, especially in its sunset. Very beautiful. Unfortunately, it was cloudy today, and the photos taken were not bright enough and exciting enough.
This is the daily posture of "Big Brother in the Country". A person who is proficient in English and travels all over the world becomes a "farmer" when he arrives in Yunnan.
Walking to the other side of the bridge, I was fascinated by a section of railway. This is a very special railway, which is narrower than the railway we saw. Big brother in the country said this was the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway! This is the way to Vietnam!
Yunnan-Vietnam Railway: According to the data, it is a railway connecting Kunming, China and Haiphong, Vietnam in Southeast Asia, and the first railway in southwest China. /kloc-It was designed and planned by the French in the middle and late 9th century.
The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway is divided into two sections, of which the crossing section started construction at 190 1 and was completed and opened to traffic at 1903. Yunnan Section 1904 was started and completed on March 30th, 2000.
1 91April1day, Yunnan-Vietnam Railway was opened to traffic. However, the track here is a French standard narrow gauge railway, which is very different from what we see in China. After the completion of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, it was also called the third largest project in the world by the British daily, comparable to the Suez Canal and the Panama Canal.
Now 100 years have passed, the tracks are still there, and so are the stations. What about the train? Is this line still open to traffic?
The big brother in the country said that it is still open to traffic, but it is not the steam locomotive of the past. Now it's a modern tour of sightseeing bus. You can sit directly at Shiping, but if you want to go to Vietnam, this is not the way.
Next, we entered the village not far from the station. It's called Fangxin Village. There are several old houses here, among which Yijia Courtyard is a famous big house in the past. It is said that money is not because of land, but because there are mines at home.
In the past, the mine in my family was as rich as it is now, so this yard was very big, but it was later distributed to the poor. It is said that it moved into seventeen or eighteen families at once.
But now there are few families in the yard, all of them have moved out or are idle. They just saw an old man cooking. She warmly invited us in, but she didn't know the language or what to say.
Although the house is a bit shabby, you can see the wealth and interest of the original owner by looking at the details of the house The doors of the main hall are carved into a big hollow, and the outside is covered with gold foil. How magnificent it was then.
All the wood used is high quality wood, which is still intact after a hundred years. There are carvings and decorations at all angles, which are really beautiful.
The bricks used have been carved and polished, and the columns are exquisite and beautiful, surrounded by auspicious clouds.
The most interesting thing is to see a "life pursuit" left by the master:
A hundred acres of fertile land, thousands of books, Qinsan Lane, a pot of wine, neither immortal nor Buddha, half farmer and half Confucian.
This passage was seen on the wall and written a hundred years ago.
At that time, this family was a big family in the village, with mines at home and a rich and leisurely life, and these words expressed the meaning of the owner's pursuit: land, books, piano and wine.
"Being semi-agricultural and semi-Confucian" is an ideal life, and it is also the day that many people want at present.
At the entrance to the village, I saw a lot of people surrounded. It turned out to be a pepper collector, 7 yuan a catty. People in Yunnan like to eat spicy food and produce good peppers, but farmers complain that it is not profitable to grow peppers.
I joked, "Can I try one?" An aunt smiled and said, do you dare to eat? I haven't moved yet. The young man who came with me caught one and took a bite. Then he opened his mouth and couldn't close it. As he ran, he shouted, "Water, give me some water quickly ..." Haha, stop it. It's spicy to think about it now!
Then there is another bridge: Majiaying Jianlong Bridge.
This bridge was built in the sixty years of Qing Qianlong (1796) and rebuilt in the Republic of China. In fact, this bridge and the Shuanglong Bridge in front are the same road, and there are several bridges on this road, either small in scale or not long in existence.
This road seems to be only three or four meters wide now. In the past, it was a very important road, the main road leading to southern Yunnan, and also the official road, or the "expressway" of that year. Its significance is extraordinary. Material transportation, military mobilization, trade exchanges, document delivery, and even personnel exchanges all relied on this road and became the "national pulse" of that year.
Taking pictures here, the wild geese swimming in the river, the lotus flowers stretching in the rice fields, and the scenery in the countryside are beautiful.
Further on, we arrived at Shiping County. The first thing we saw was a large area of water. Big Brother in the countryside said that this is Yilong Lake, one of the five great lakes in Yunnan, smaller than Dianchi Lake, Erhai Lake and Fuxian Lake, and larger than Qilu Lake.
Perimeter of Yilong Lake 150 Li. Now the perfect rainbow plank road is built by the lake, which is very suitable for running, cycling and playing. Isn't it beautiful?
At this time, it was nearly noon, and my eldest brother in the country took me to a small restaurant in Douzhuwan Village by the lake for lunch. There used to be several small restaurants here, mainly barbecues, and the guests were also village drivers or passing by.
In Shiping and Jianshui areas, even the smallest restaurant will have barbecue stalls, mainly baked tofu, which is the standard of restaurants. Locals like to eat baked tofu, even if they eat a bowl of noodles, they will add a piece of baked tofu, which is also a long-standing dining custom.
What we want is a big piece of tofu from Shiping. At first, it was a state of dried tofu. With the increase of heat, the inside began to expand and the outside became delicate. At this time, it was cooked. According to local customs, tear it open with your hands and dip it in seasoning (water) to eat. We asked the boss to cut it up and put it on a plate.
But how can Lao Xu let us only eat tofu, order barbecue, roast chicken and roast pig skin? If nothing else, how many people have eaten this barbecue skin? Do you still want to know its taste?
The first roast is pork belly, a local pig, which is slaughtered in the morning, slightly pickled, added with some baking materials such as Chili noodles, cut into small pieces and served. This is too fragrant. It's the best roast pork I've ever eaten.
This meal is delicious and not expensive. I still miss it for a long time, and it seems that it is still floating between my teeth and refuses to disperse.
After lunch, Brother Country turned on the navigation, and we continued to look for the travel route he set. We first went to Xiushan Temple in Shiping.
Xiushan Temple is located about15km southwest of Shiping County, Yunnan Province. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it was named Zhenjue Temple and renamed Xiushan Temple in the late Ming Dynasty. When I went to Yunnan, I found that many temples here are the fusion of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, which reflects the tolerance and openness of Yunnan religion, or that the beliefs here are not exclusive.
The temple is very green, lush and full of plants, many of which are ancient trees, such as cherry blossoms in the Tang Dynasty, plum blossoms in the Song Dynasty, Luohansong in the Yuan Dynasty and osmanthus in the Qing Dynasty. If it is in the flowering season, you can imagine the magnificence and fragrance here.
The buildings here are old and quiet. This is a good place to practice.
Quiet temple, walking around, no monks, no pilgrims, took a lot of photos.
Next, we came to Ying Zheng Village, Baoxiu Town, about 0/0 km west of Shiping County, which is a small village with piles of ancient buildings.
The first time I saw the national cultural protection unit: Chen Ancestral Hall.
This was 1925 built by Chen Heting, a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty and a Yunnan industrialist who presided over the construction of the first private railway in China history.
Ying Zheng Chens Ancestral Hall consists of Zongmen, Lotus Pond, Stone Bridge, Middle Hall, Main Hall, Piandian and Pavilion. The total building area of the two courtyards is 1.24 million square meters. Because the history of these buildings may be less than 65,438+000 years, there are many modern architectural elements.
This building has a high specification, which should cost a lot of money, and it pursues exquisiteness in details, especially the pillars with stone lions. Carvers are not only beautiful, but also bold, which is rare elsewhere.
Ying Zheng Village also has A Zheng Ancestral Temple, which is also a national cultural protection unit. Zheng ancestral hall was built in the eighth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1882), and it is still well preserved.
It's a pity that the gate here is closed. Big brother in the country said it several times, but he never opened the door. It may still be under repair, but if you look at the carved beams and painted columns on the beams, you can feel its exquisiteness and vulgarity.
It began to rain and the children hurried by. Now Ying Zheng is a provincial cultural village, also known as "the first village in Yunnan". It is very famous in history, with abundant talents and rolling financial resources! How industrious and clever their ancestors were.
Ying Zheng Village has a history of more than 600 years. There are three streets and nine lanes in the ancient village, named after surnames and geographical environment. The streets are paved with bluestone, and most of the houses here are large quadrangles facing south. There used to be 403 quadrangles in the village, but now there are 28 complete quadrangles.
Finally, we visited the former residence of Chen Heting, a scholar in Qing Dynasty. As mentioned earlier, he built the "Chen Ancestral Hall".
I don't know if Chen Heting (1874- 193 1) is the richest and most prestigious person in Ying Zheng, but his resume is not simple.
He was a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. After the Revolution of 1911, he served as Counsellor and Director of Internal Affairs of Cai E. Later, he served as the general manager of Bibi Railway, founded three railway banks, and presided over the construction of the first private railway in China history-"Bibi Shilin Railway".
In addition to doing business all his life, Chen Heting was also enthusiastic about education. According to the data, in the thirty-second year of Guangxu (1906), he transferred the assets of a century-old shrine to promote his studies and founded Ying Zheng Primary School. The children in the village advised him to enter school, which became the focus of Shiping County.
Chen Heting's former residence was the largest building in Ying Zheng Village during the Republic of China. It's well preserved here. As far as the personal former residence is concerned, it can be said that it is exquisite to the extreme and is known as the "pearl scattered among the people".
The overall architectural details are perfect, as if it is a beautiful handicraft that can be packed and taken away.
The biggest feature of Chen's former residence is that the whole house is carved with flowers, and there are few characters and animals, which may be related to the pursuit and preference of the owner. These wood carvings are not only reliefs, but also multi-level three-dimensional sculptures, which are beautiful.
Ancient house architecture may be related to the identity and status of the owner. He broke through the aesthetic cognition of traditional architecture and integrated his own thinking on art. If you look closely, Chen's former residence has many characteristics of its own, which also matches its owner's identity and culture. Dozens of ancient houses seen in Jianshui and Shiping are unique and unforgettable.
