Ministry of Civil Affairs, "Provisional Norms for Marriage Registration"

Article 29 stipulates that: mainland residents shall submit a valid resident's identity card and hukou book to apply for marriage registration, and those who are unable to submit an identity card for any reason may issue a valid temporary identity card.

Article 28 stipulates that the conditions for accepting applications for marriage registration are:

(1) the marriage registry has jurisdiction;

(2) the man and woman requesting to get married **** the same to the marriage registry to apply;

(3) the man in question has reached the age of 22 years, and the woman has reached the age of 20 years;

(4) neither party has a spouse (unmarried, divorced, widowed). spouse (unmarried, divorced, widowed);

(e) Both parties have no blood relatives in the direct line and no blood relatives within three generations;

(f) Both parties voluntarily enter into marriage;

(g) The parties submit three 2-inch photos of both parties' recent half-body, bareheaded photos;

(h) The parties hold valid certificates stipulated in Articles 29 to 35 of the present Code. Valid documents.

Article 41 stipulates that the issuance of a marriage license shall be carried out in the presence of both parties in accordance with the following steps:

(1) inquiring and checking the names of the parties and their willingness to enter into marriage;

(2) informing the parties of their legal relationship as well as the rights and obligations of husband and wife after obtaining the marriage license;

(3) witnessing the parties' own personal declaration in the Marriage Registration Examination and Processing Form" in the "signature and fingerprints of the parties to the license" column and fingerprints;

"Signature and fingerprints of the parties to the license" column shall not be left blank, and shall not be filled in by others, fingerprints.

(4) The marriage license will be issued to the two parties to the marriage registration, and announce to both parties that they have obtained the marriage license and established the relationship between husband and wife;

(5) Congratulate the new couple.
