There are the following steps to type the smiley face symbol:

1. Find our shortcut icon for input method.

2. click the right mouse button on the icon of the input method, and find the option of setting properties in the pop-up right-click menu.

3. Click the property setting option to open the property setting dialog box.

4. Enter custom options in the search in this dialog box, and then find advanced intelligent input options in the search results.

5. Select the advanced intelligent input option and find the custom phrase setting option in the interface on the right.

6. Click the option of setting custom phrases and find the option of adding new definitions in the pop-up dialog box.

7. Click the Add New Definition option, find the abbreviation option in the pop-up dialog box, enter the abbreviation to be spelled in the abbreviation, then enter the smiley face symbol in the input box, and set the position of this phrase in the candidate to 1.

8. After setting, click OK. The smiley face information we set appears in the custom phrase settings. The smiley face information is set.

9. Open the input box and type the abbreviation information we just typed on the keyboard. You can see that the smiley face symbol appears in the candidate. Press Enter to type the smiley face symbol.
