Discussion on insurance amount of second-hand equipment
Take the second-hand machine tools imported from Germany as an example. The import process is as follows:

1. Import Procurement-After XX Company discussed the related matters of machinery and equipment with German suppliers, XX company makes payment to Sweden.

2. Import filing-German factory will arrange delivery CIF Hong Kong, and the consignee of the bill of lading is the name of our Hong Kong company (in order to save time, it saves you the trouble of providing a power of attorney to change the bill of lading). At the same time, your company provides the information, and our company arranges the old electromechanical archiving.

3. Pick up the goods at the dock-before the goods arrive in Hong Kong, our Hong Kong company will receive the arrival date of the goods sent by the shipping company, and we can start to change the order in advance. When the goods arrive in Hong Kong, we can pick them up from the dock and transport them to our warehouse/yard in Hong Kong.

4. Hong Kong Intermediate Inspection-After the goods arrive at our warehouse/yard, we will unpack the equipment to see if the nameplate is clear. Then apply to China Zhong Jian Company for Hongkong Zhong Jian, and Zhong Jian Company will issue the pre-shipment inspection certificate for imported used mechanical and electrical products.

5.O certificate processing -O certificate is also called automatic import license for new and old mechanical and electrical products. Since 2008, all used mechanical and electrical products must pass the intermediate inspection before applying for the import license of new (old) mechanical and electrical products. This is somewhat different from the policy before 2008, so we must pay attention to it: in the past, O-certificates were issued first, and then intermediate inspections were conducted. Now, you can only apply for the O-card after the intermediate examination.

6. Barges from Hong Kong to Sha Tin-After obtaining the automatic import license, our company usually needs 2-3 working days to arrange barges from Hong Kong to the mainland.

7. Import commodity inspection of second-hand equipment-after the goods arrive at the dock, our company will first go to the commodity inspection bureau for inspection and inspection, and then issue a customs clearance form for commodity inspection.

8. Second-hand equipment import declaration-we can formally declare with the commodity inspection clearance form, and the customs will examine the price-accept the price-issue a tax bill-and pay customs duties and value-added tax.

9. Customs inspection-mainly check whether the name of the old equipment is consistent with the documents, weight, etc! This is the second release.

10. Arrange delivery-pay the container rent to the shipping company and the warehouse rent to the dock, and you can take out the goods! Our company will send the machine to our warehouse after picking up the goods. XX company sends people to inspect the goods and pay for them, and then our company arranges vehicles (transport the machines to the designated place of XX company). Or pick up the goods and send them directly to the designated place of XX Company.

In addition, some details should be paid attention to when importing:

1) Equipment packaging treatment:

When disassembling the equipment, carefully check the appearance and packaging of the equipment itself for appearance defects and damage, and deal with them if necessary.

2) Equipment fuselage treatment:

Carry out radiation inspection on second-hand equipment to check whether there is water leakage, oil leakage, dirt, dirt, excessive smoke and other phenomena. If so, please handle it properly.

3) Equipment appearance treatment:

Carefully clean and remove the oil, dust and production waste of second-hand equipment, and do not bring it into Hongkong (China). With these things, they will not pass the health inspection, which will lead to the inability to import second-hand equipment.

The appearance and interior of old equipment should be strictly inspected, especially in some corners and inconspicuous places. Parts with large corrosion or serious corrosion should be cleaned and renovated in time.

4) Equipment safety treatment:

Check the safety signs and warning signs on the external surface of the equipment, the safety of protective devices and the safety of electrical and mechanical components at rest; Hanging or spraying warning signs and patterns in dangerous places of second-hand equipment.

5) Equipment electrical device processing:

Wires, cables, electrical switches, sockets, etc. attached to second-hand equipment should be strictly checked for damage, destruction and missing, and replaced in time if any.

6) Equipment loading and cabinet processing

When the old equipment is actually packed, it should be packed separately according to the different uses and names of the equipment, and it is not allowed to be mixed or mixed, so as to avoid increasing the inspection difficulty and even increasing the inspection time and cost when the goods arrive at the domestic site for inspection in Hong Kong.

7) Packing list of equipment

In the packing list, the specific name, quantity and weight of the second-hand equipment actually loaded in each cabinet should be carefully and reasonably listed to facilitate the inspection and customs inspection of the second-hand equipment when it is imported.

8) Description of equipment functions:

It is very important to import second-hand large-scale complete sets of equipment and assembly lines and provide information such as equipment configuration diagram and process flow chart. Without these materials, the filing of large-scale equipment cannot be passed in China. Therefore, you must try your best to ask foreign suppliers to provide these materials! ! !

We must pay more attention to the above when importing second-hand machinery, and handle it properly in time to avoid the extra burden and trouble brought by importing old equipment, thus increasing unnecessary expenses on the time and cost of importing old machinery! ! !

. . . . . . The above are just some representative problems, and more problems. Welcome colleagues and friends from all walks of life to put forward and discuss together! ! Study together!

There are also friends who don't understand the import of second-hand machinery or the problems encountered in the import declaration of old equipment. You can log on to my blog "Dongguan Huizhou Qingyuan Zhongshan Shaoguan new and old machinery and equipment import agent" (Baidu search), which has a relatively complete topic on the import of second-hand machinery. Or enter my Baidu space to find my contact information.
