Beijing's average annual wage for urban non-private sector employees (the sum of on-the-job workers, labor dispatchers, and other employees) was 194,651 yuan! Divided by industry sectors, the average wage of urban non-private sector on-the-job workers in Beijing's financial sector is the highest, at 395,402 yuan; information transmission, software and information technology services are in second place, with an annual average wage of 291,864 yuan; and culture, sports and entertainment are in third place, at 227,040 yuan. There are many financial companies in Beijing, Wind data show that, according to the industry classification standards of the Securities and Futures Commission, there are 126 existing financial companies in the A-share market, and Beijing alone has 22 of them, which ranks first in terms of number, thus attracting a large number of financial talents. Coupled with the financial industry in 2021, the market turned good, financial institutions performance rebound, some securities companies, investment companies, salary increase, the average salary in the financial industry rose.
It is worth mentioning that in 2020, the top three provinces of the average salary of urban non-private sector employees, in order of Beijing 178,178 yuan, Shanghai 171,884 yuan, Tibet 12,1005 yuan. Up to now, Shanghai has only announced the average salary of urban unit employees in full caliber in 2021, which is 136,757 yuan; Tibet has not yet released the relevant data.
