Wuhu Vocational and Technical College (in English) is the first batch in China, the first national demonstrative higher vocational college in Anhui Province, and an excellent institution for evaluating the talent training level of higher vocational colleges in China. It is a national pilot institution for training skilled talents in short supply, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China, the national demonstration institution for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, and the first batch of independent enrollment reform pilot institutions in Anhui Province.

The school started from Anhui Luxiang Public School founded by Li Guangjiong 1903. It has gone through the stages of Wuhu Agricultural School, Wuhu Vocational College of Information Technology and Wuhu United University. 1May, 1997, with the approval of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education, it was renamed as its current name.

2. Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, is a model higher vocational college in Anhui Province. The school is the vice chairman of the Chinese Medicine Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the executive vice chairman of the National Chinese Medicine Vocational and Technical Education Association, the chairman of the Chinese Medicine Higher Vocational Education Textbook Construction Steering Committee, the chairman of the Chinese Medicine Health Care Professional Committee of Anhui Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, and the chairman of the Chinese Medicine Planting (Breeding) Professional Committee of Anhui Pharmaceutical Association.

3. Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Commerce

Anhui Business Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary college approved by the Anhui provincial government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is the project construction unit of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province, the project construction unit of national backbone higher vocational colleges, the first batch of comprehensive reform pilot colleges in Anhui Province, the first batch of local skilled high-level universities in Anhui Province, and the national modern apprenticeship pilot unit.

4. Anhui Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology

Anhui Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology is located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. It is an advanced unit of vocational education in China, a backbone vocational college in machinery industry, a national training base for skilled personnel in short supply, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China, the first batch of provincial demonstration vocational colleges, and the project construction unit of local skilled high-level universities in Anhui Province.

5. Wuhu Vocational College of Information Technology

Wuhu Information Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1978, formerly known as Wuhu Education College, and was renamed Wuhu Information Vocational and Technical College with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government in 2005. It is a public institution of higher learning. College is located in Wuhu University Park, covering an area of more than 600 mu (up to 20 10). Wuhu Vocational College of Information Technology was merged into Wuhu Vocational and Technical College on 20 12, and its campus was renamed as Wuhu Vocational and Technical College West Campus.
