The movie depicts the story of a girl who comes to the big city to become a chef, but has a dream. The movie is a beautiful love story of a girl with a dream to cook good food and her mother's quarrel to become a chef in the big city, where she meets her boss, who is very picky about his food, by chance.
I saw this movie as a child at the Grand Theater, and my instinctive love of food, coupled with the wonderful plot and the lovely heroine Lili, made me fall in love with this movie almost instantly, but unfortunately I didn't get to see the ending.
This movie really cultivated my longing for food, palace soup dumplings, family cakes, (at that time, my family had just reached the subsistence level, right?), both food and beautiful love, what can you ask for in life! I remember Lili cooking at the home of that vulgar rich couple, (the food in that house was really bad, microwave corn), when challenged, she said: when my ancestors in the XX court to cook XX dishes, your ancestors are still in the primitive jungle in the Americas chewing corn cobs. (I can't really remember the original, and I don't understand German.) Riotous laughter.
The ending is a happy one, with two couples getting married at the same time (the other couple being lili's mom and dad, naturally), the dog barking all the time during the ceremony, the priest's super-helpful face, and everyone dancing at the end. A comedic love story with so many delightful food accents is really easy to feel contented from the heart.
All I can remember now is the heroine's short hair, a lot of delicious dishes, and a happy ending that is similar to many Cinderella plots. At that time, it should be ten years ago, in such a budding period, not yet pay attention to Europe and the United States when the drama can be attracted to such a film, mainly because of its easy plot and delicious thirsty food.
The deep impression is the heroine said: in a different bed to sleep on the first night of the dream is true. She dreamed: the supervisor is her father, and the result is really so dramatic. Later every time I changed a place to sleep I will think of her this sentence, the result does not seem to have realized lol.
In fact, life really will have so many coincidences? Falling in love with a boss you've never met, recognizing your dad who you've never met, if only life was that fulfilling. All in all a good looking movie, very relaxing.
