Guanmen Mountain is known as the "Little Huangshan Mountain in Northeast China". Guanmen Mountain is colorful all year round with different scenery. Guanmen Mountain is divided into Benxi Guanmen Mountain Forest Park and Guanmen Mountain Reservoir Scenic Area, which are two scenic spots, more than ten kilometers apart. In 2111, it was rated as a national AAAA-level scenic tourist area.

Guanmenshan Forest Park covers an area of 3,517 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 95%. The vegetation in the park is well preserved, with many ancient and famous trees and beautiful scenery. It is a forest tourist scenic spot integrating tourism, sightseeing, summer vacation and leisure, and it is also one of the 51 scenic spots in Liaoning. Guanmenshan is colorful all year round with different scenery. In spring, the mountains are full of wild rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolia flowers, and various unknown mountain flowers, and they bloom and rot. In summer, clouds fall in Yun Qi, and the clouds change wonderfully. In autumn, "Who gets drunk when it's dawn?" Maple leaves are all over the mountains, and the forest is all dyed. "Frost leaves are red in February flowers." In winter, although it is like the frozen snow in the north, it suddenly rises and hides gullies.

Guanmen Mountain belongs to the humid climate zone in the middle temperate zone, with sunny spring, slightly hot and rainy summer, crisp autumn days and frozen snow in winter. The annual average temperature is 6℃~8℃, the average temperature in the hottest month is 24.3℃ in July, and it is rainy in summer. The average temperature in Leng Yue in October is-14.3℃. There is sufficient rainfall throughout the year, with an average annual precipitation of 811-911 mm.
